Position

Much of lifting is from positioning. The right position for the first pull, leads to the right position for the second pull.

What starts well is easier to finish well.

Teamwork

Working with someone else to accomplish a task develops special skills. Our clients are strong individuals. Learning to work together is a skill the same as learning complex movements.

Aftermath

Workouts often leave people laying on the floor. The desire for every person who have ever worked out is to get some results. The fast track to results is intensity. Intensity is uncomfortable - that is why why so few people get results. It takes a special person to be able to push themselves. These guys are special.

The last few days I had the opportunity to be a part of the Olympic Weightlifting Camp at Front Range CrossFit in Denver. The camp featured Paul Fleschler, former resident coach at the Olympic Training Center and owner of Red Rocks CrossFit.

The camp was geared to immersing the athletes in to three days of weightlifting, programming and video analysis. Paul is a consummate coach and excellent technician. We will be posting videos and commentarty in the weeks to come. If you have the opportuntiy to be a part of camp like this, it is a must.
